Economy expository essay

Do you think having freedom to do whatever you want with your own money is the best? You’re wrong! There are four types of economy in the world: Market, Command, Mixed and Traditional. However, a market economy negatively affects its citizen by creates greed and overused.
The citizens of market economy society have more chances in gain their wealth, but it also creates greedy society. The citizens in a country that have well development in Market economy like the United State earn $46,326 billion in average per year. Being able to earn more isn’t that hard, as hard as you work, it all depends. Valuable-what is that supposed to mean? That’s what people call limited resources, things which many people want to have. Yes, valuable resources-it can be as simple as a nice painting from a famous artist that people take an auction on, or as large as a giant goldmine that countries fought for years to have it. In “How much land does a man need?” The peasant keep wanting more land, he want as much land as possible, want all the land that he could see and keep it all to himself. Since greed grew bigger in him, it naturally became part of himself and he has absolutely no control over. It haunted him, exhausted him to dead.
Greed leads to the desire of properties. These desires are mostly granted in a market economy. In order to granted these greedy wishes from citizens, companies and factories have been working it out in a way that makes the environmental society goes worst.
Based on the principles of supply and demand, companies can sell, factories can produce, can burn as much fossil fuel as the consumers wanted. In 2009, the scientists estimate that Apple was responsible for 9.6 million metric tons of greenhouse gas emissions. That was the result of people deciding what they want to buy. Once anything is produce, people with a well develop of economy wouldn’t be bothered by the price of the products and when they decided to go for it, it creates a huge footprint on the ecosystem. Companies using animals’ fur to produce clothes which lead to big changes on animals’ foods web and also with the support from media advertising, companies can entice more consumers in order to make them buy more stuff.
China is now became the twelve over twenty top polluted countries in the world. This environment problem started since the 1998, right after the death of Den Xiaoping - a leader who changed China’s economy from a command to a market economy. He allows individuals to make their own choices, to earn resources. Made China became one of the countries that having the highest GDP in the world.
This is another serious problem about social classes in market economies. The poor would always stay being the poor. Most of the middle classes individual society has to work hard for almost their entire life for getting a higher standard of living. There are two types of rich: the first one is that they was born to be rich, the second one are the people from the middle class who worked hard. The poor cannot be able to afford important things to make them succeed like education, because they also have to eat. The rich gets to set prices of products that they produce in a market economy. As long as they set it high, the poor cannot save money while surviving. That is unfair and that is how market economy works. Human greed is endless; it makes many people do selfish things. Again – China, is having the second richest man on Earth and it’s going to become the world’s most powerful country. But still, sixty percent of the Chinese is still living on by agriculture - still being the lowest class with the lowest incomes in the Chinese society. Market economy is creating a huge far away gaps between the poor and the rich.
Without the government, economy of the country would increase so that people has too much freedom in decided what they want. They will not considering the environmental problem before buying anything. Greed blur people’s eyes, it stop people from making right decisions. The more they have, the more they want, as long as these consumers be able to afford it. In order to stop these problems from happening, human-being should have a balanced economy that stay somewhere between Market and Command with rules from the government that guided the poor to be succeed and stop the rich from being greedy. For example, governments can started a new taxes system based on individual incomes. Therefore, the poor still be able to survive and saving money, the rich only be able to afford their needs and not be able to have more than they would ever wanted.

How does advertising influence consumption?
Advertising makes people want to buy things, the more things they buy, created more consumption.

Do you think citizens are sufficiently informed about the sustainability of our consumption habits? If not, how can we become more informed about sustainability issues?
No, i don't think most of the people know what Sustainable is.That’s why they don’t know that things they do everyday have a huge impact on the environment and that they are the one who can change their behavior.Well, we can use advertising to let people know more about it, we can use techniques to leading people, to make them feel interested about it.
Yes, when me and my friends found something cool on the internet, or maybe just the way they introduce it is cool, or my favorite actor is saying this is good, we''ll try to get it.

Do you think these advertising techniques influence what you and your friends purchase?
Yes, because whenever me and my friends found somthing look cool on the internet, or maybe just the way they introduce it to us makes us all want to have it like my favorite actor saying something is good. Or like a girl at our age is wearing a nice dress then we're all want it, we can imagine us as her wearing the dress.

Sustainable

1/ recycle papers
2/Don't use plastic bags.
3/Take buses instead of buying cars.
4/Turn off the light when you don't use it.

Migration/Immigration
My cousin-Sabrina is going back to Malaysia next week for some paper work needs to be done for her family. She immigrated here 4 years ago with her parents and her little brother. Her father is a business man, the company sent her father to Vietnam for business. They think he’ll have more opportunities here than he does in Malaysia. They packed-up and we helped them to settle a house, schools, transportation and others.
Sabrina wasn’t born here but she lived here before the migration for a few months when her family came over and visit us. She loves staying here, she said everything is bored back in her hometown, friends and school counted. Malaysia’s climate is very similar to Vietnam. Except for 1 thing, instead of wet-hot, it is dry-hot. You won’t be sweat a lot there. It doesn’t matter how the weather works. She loves this place because it is crowded and she made some really nice friends here at school. She has so much fun here that she couldn’t have in Malaysia. That’s why she never want to go back. Now, she is preparing to go to Malaysia, visiting her grandparents, and also because of her visa is expired.

    Selevian

A long time ago, a religion name Selenism started in The Selenvian, a tiny little planet in the universe that no human on Earth has ever heard of. There were only 3 countries on the Selevian. The Sel- at the East, the Lena- at the south and the last one is the Vian at the North-West.
Selenism was a religion ruled by a person- the top of the Church ( like Pope ) There was only one Pope on the Selevian. THe Pope was the one who makes decisions, the one who ruled. But It was hard for the Pope to make decisions that would be the best for all three countries.
In 1910, the Sel argued with the pope for one of the decisions that he made. They wanted to have a group of people to ruled then they could vote for decisions that they or a person in group wanted to made. THe pope denied everything. The Sel foght against the pope who lived at the very West of the Sel, they crossed two main rivers in the Selevian. The first river started at the North of the Sel-ended at the South-West of the Lena. THe second river started at the North of the Vian- ended at the Sel. The war between the Pope and the Sel last for 2 years. The Pope lost. In 1930, the Sel started a new branch of the Selenism- call the Eastern Selenism. The Sel practiced E-Selenism while the other two stil following W-Selenism.( the originary one)
In 1950, to trade easier with other countries, the Sel decided to started a new trade ceter at the middle of the Selenvian, where 3 countries meet each other. The Sel trade resources such as oil, diamond,.., the Lena trade for animals and the Lena got the best seafoods in the planet and it was also a perfect place for traveling.IN 1950, King Arnorld III moved the capital to Numa ( near the lake) to trade easier along the river and to easier on controling the contry because there were not much peopel living at the North-East of Sel. In 1960, the Lena attacked the Sel for resources- created huge damage. AT this time, many poeple moved from the Lena to The Sel, mixing the cultures of two countries, some cities near the Lena now speaking Lenaese.Un till 1970, a peace contract between three contries, they decided that there's will be no more wars on the planet either beacause of religion or resources, they don't want the planet being destroy.
From 1980 to 2010, The selevian started the period of exploration and invention. They sailed around the Selevian for the first time. Created the first time machine...

    What I've learned about myself/friends cultures ?

Through this family trees project, I've learned a lot of things about my friends and myself- things that I didn't notice before. This is two of the things that I learned.
I didn't know anything about my great grandparents, they are all gone when I was little. I asked my parents about them and then I found out something- My G-Grandfather on my dad side had 18 wives. The other one on my mom sise had 23 wives.WOw, they had so many wives-it is a huge number. How could that happen ?My parents said it was normal for men to have many wives at that time but It was not ok to let women have many husband.Well, and the other thing is what I learned about my friend's culture.I have a friend and she is from Russia, on the presentation, she brought us a Russian desert. It makes from yogurt, sugar and milk. She said that difference family has diffenrence recipes. I like it, it's sweet and taste good

    Mui Ne...

Describe 1 place you have been. Include a description of at least 3 physical characteristics and 2 human/environment interaction.

This summer, I went on a vacation with my family in Mui Ne. It is a very nice place to travel or live. People who live there, they use bikes instead of motobike and cars which causes pollution.

I 've been to a place in MUi Ne it's a small hill made of white sand. It looks like a tiny desert. I saw people climb up to the top of the hill and try to skate down. I tried to climb up too but I didn't skate because the wind was very strong up there and sand were all over my eyes. Next to the hill is a lake, a small lake. The water is very green and the air is fresh, I stayed at the lake till noon and it's started to get hot.

The crowdest place in MUI Ne is the beach. A lots of people there ,Its very noisy  and the water isn't clean because there're too many people who tried to swim. But I love the seafoods that people selled at the sidewalk of the beach.
